$0.91 per mile for all dispatched loaded miles
$0.91 per mile for all authorized dispatched empty miles

Determination of mileage
Mileage will be determined by short route miles on the current version of PC Miller and any future supplements or updates thereto.

Definition of “authorized empty miles”
After you make a delivery, we will call you and tell you where to go for your next pick up. If you chose to refuse the load offered to you, we incur extra expense, time, work and inconvenience to customers and E. J. A. Trucking, Inc. associates to cover this load. Your load will be given to the next driver who called in empty in the area and you will have to wait for next load available to you.

Empty miles from last delivery to home 
If you decided to go home, you are “out of service” from the point of the last delivery until you leave home for your next load. Empty miles from your last delivery to home are not considered “authorized empty miles”and neither mileage pay, nor fuel surcharge, tolls or any other expenses will be paid for these miles.

Additional compensation
$25 for all stop-offs. This does not include the origin or final destination
$50 for all Glideaway stop-offs. This does not include the origin or final destination
$25 per hour detention pay after 4 hours from the appointment time. Driver must be on time for delivery. If pick-up or delivery is FCFS (first come, first serve) there will be no detention. Maximum detention is $200 in 24 hours.
$75 layover for full 24 hours.
$100 for every inspection report with no violations.

Driver qualifications
Driver must have 2 years verifiable over-the-road experience, 23 years old, Class A, CDL. No preventable accidents within the last 12 months (no more than 2 in the history). Driver may not have more than 3 moving violations within the last 3 years with no DWI’s, DUI’s, C&I, Reckless Operations, and so forth in the last 10 years.

Tractor qualifications
Your tractor must be in sound mechanical condition with good appearance. Tractor must be a late model (5 years old or newer) at the time of signing. The tractor must pass a Department of Transportation and E. J. A. Trucking, Inc. inspection. Driver will be charged $40 for this inspection. All door signs and numbering will be provided by E. J. A. Trucking, Inc. and driver will be charged one time $60.

Insurance
E. J. A. Trucking, Inc. does not provide Bobtail Liability and Physical Damage Insurance and workmans ompensation insurance. When purchased, E. J. A. Trucking, Inc. must be listed as an additional insured.

Fuel assistance program
Due to rising fuel costs, we implemented additional compensation to you to assist you in paying higher than normal fuel prices. Adjustments will be made each week upon the DOE index and will be applied on all shipments for that week.
